THE TRI-COUNTY DIVE RESCUE TEAM, OF BUCKEYE LAKE, OHIO
The Tri-County Dive Rescue Team is a 501c3 non profit organization that was founded in 1984 under the direction of Russ Born. Currently the dive rescue team is lead by Jim Weber, who has worked hard to keep the team well equipped and ready to handle any emergency, in not only the tri-county area but also the state of Ohio.
From the beginning, this team has been dedicated to serving the citizens of Buckeye Lake and has continued to provide its services into the adjoining states. Tri-County provides fast response divers for water emergencies, and k9 search and recovery teams.
All divers must be certified; Advanced open water, with rescue training, also night diving, limited visibility, ice, and dry suit opeations are also available. Our team is comprised of a wide variety of search and rescue divers, recreational dvers EMT,s , paramedics, firefighters, law enforcement.

1) By promoting educational programs to the young and old, about how to stay safe around any water source.
2) By training and educational programs to advance our knowledge on quick and safe operation, while performing a water rescue, recovery, or land rescue.
